Pastor and First Lady Robinson

 

 

Elder Reginald Robinson is a simple man who loves the LORD. He loves to do service for GOD as well as others. Elder Reginald E. Robinson was born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He attended Orchard Park SDA church, where he accepted the Gospel at the age of 13 years old. At a young age, he chose to serve God in the Church. As he attempted to serve GOD in church, the devil was tempting and attacking him. Elder Robinson struggled with the temptations of sin, but in 1996 he recommitted his life to GOD. He and his wife Cynthia Robinson  were baptized and began a new life together at New Life SDA church in Chattanooga, TN. They labored for the Lord in many different capacities. In 1998, Elder Robinson accepted God’s call on his life into the ministry. He and His wife moved to attend Oakwood College now Oakwood University.  He has continued to work in the church. While working in God’s vineyard, he was ordained as an Elder in 2001. He has served as First Elder in Deckerd, Tennessee. He has served as Chaplain for the Tennessee River Youth Federation and Vice-President for Central Alabama Youth Federation. He has served as Youth Pastor, assistant Couple ministries leader and helped with other organizations outside the church. While attending the Andrews University Seminary he served as a Resident Pastor at Morgan Park Seventh-day Adventist Church in Chicago, IL. He also severed as the Senior Pastor of Smyrna Seventh-day Adventist, Lynchburg Virginia and the Hope for Today Mission in Evergreen Virginia. In 2006 he was one of the Keynote Speakers with Share Him, Global Evangelism in Tanzania, Africa. Where he and 10 other Ministers from Oakwood College baptized or enrolled in bible classes for Baptism 1,236 souls.  Reginald Robinson also spent 1 ½ month in Dayton Ohio the summer of 2007 with 86 Bible Studies and 2 were lead to Christ. He graduated from the Andrews University Seminary August 2015 with a Masters of Divinity. In 2018 completed 4 units of CPE from the Sioux Falls, South Dakota Veterans Hospital at that time also received Denominational  Endorsement from the North American Division as a Health Care Chaplain. Will start doctoral work in October of 2019. He presently (February 2019) serves as a Pastor in the South Central Conference at the Historical Morning Star Church and First Port Gibson Church, where He is a member of the NAACP and the Mayor With Based Advisory Board.  cHe and his wife have a joint ministry “S.U.R.V.I.V.A.L MINISTRIES”. Theme: “Surviving everyday with Jesus.” Elder Robinson believes that “His goal in life is to reflect the love of Christ to everyone and share the Gospel of Jesus to all who will hear.” One of His many favorite text is 2 Corinthians 10:3-5.

 He loves God with all his heart there is another love in his life the former Cynthia Love. June 18th will make 25 years of marriage. She has assisted and accepted God’s ministry in his life. Her love is a motivation and inspiration to her husband and others. She also graduated from Oakwood College with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Early Childhood Development. She also has graduates from the Andrews University Seminary with a Masters in Youth and Young Adult Ministry completed also in August 2015
